We sell free range "woodland" eggs from our own chickens which can be seen at the bottom of the garden. Our own range of Sillycotts jams, preserves, pickles, chilli sauces is always available and seasonal extras such as home made rich Xmas mince. We also occasionally sell home made cakes made from out own fresh woodland eggs and home made jams. Traditional homemade Scottish tablet, kindling bundles, small garden tools, plants and small trees are available. We are situated at Sillycotts cottage near the beautiful village of St Cyrus in Aberdeenshire.

About Us:- The McDermott family, who run the Sillycotts Cottage Garden, have been active and popular members of the St Cyrus community for more than a decade. William McDermott recently made the decision to give up his career in adult education/computer engineering to pursue the family dream of leaving the rat race. Inspired by  the "The Good Life", we decided to start our own business selling woodland eggs and home made traditional products. One of our particular favorites is the lemon and orange curd made with our own woodland eggs and one of the best sellers is our traditional home made Scottish tablet.
