Kermit
Well, here it is in her own words the story of Kirstens Car
called "Kermit";
I have only ever owned one car and Kermit
is it !!! I drove past this thing nearly four years ago and it was
love at first sight. We've been together ever since and although we have had
our ups and downs, we are still on speaking terms. Its an extremely
fun car to drive (once you get used to its idiosyncracities) - especially
around the quiet country roads of East Kent . It was originally a
pick-up but has had lots of extra bodywork welded on (in 8 ml steel plate !).
Its actually a fairly standard Moggie (if you don't count the wheel arches,
running boards, fat tyres, tiny steering wheel, stubby gear-stick, bucket
seats and XJ6 petrol cap) and people either love it or wonder why on earth I
ever parted with my cash.
At the latter group I can only
shake my head - they just do not understand............
Sadly, Kermit is currently off the road to have
a new gearbox and clutch fitted- and to have various petrol leaks and poor
starting fixed, get well soon
Kermit!
Kirsten also has an early 80's Triumph Tiger
motorbike, on which she is planning a round the world trip. You will be able
