Dave Long's car- 741 SMM is a 1959 four door saloon previously owned by his Dad and before by Phil Roswell who was also an MEKK member. The car benefitted from a new engine last August, a recon engine from a scrapped car. Dave has owned the car for five years and has used it for rallies and days out. Dave had a grey Morris Minor before this for eight or nine years.

Mods- unleaded head.

Name- "Millie"
Both Daves adult children have driven Millie. New sills and spring hangers have been welded in. The interior of the car was very good. This years project is to replace the two rear doors with good second hand items. I happen to know that Dave works at a local Ford dealership and the ramps and other equipment there were put to good use during the engine swap last August!
